What to expect at Orientation

A teacher will greet you/your child and discuss goals for your/their training. The teacher will point out all the features of our inclusive dojo (bathrooms, changing rooms, utility room, etc) A teacher will answer questions about our style and our programs. A teacher will also explain what it means to be a nonprofit dojo and discuss our outreach programs. Then the new student will be shown the basic class etiquette and the basic techniques once they get on the mat. (About 10 minutes of talking and paperwork and 20 minutes of class.)

New students may participate in the class following their orientation on their first visit or may simply observe. Please bring workout clothing and a water bottle. We have changing rooms. Parking is 4-hours free under the building and the entrance is off of 18th St.
