Board Members and Staff

Quantum relies on it’s members and student partners to fulfill its mission and continue providing services, but none of those services would be possible without our dedicated board members and staff. To contact the Board please email info[at]quantumseattle.org.

Alison McCaffree

Alison McCaffree, Executive Director, (She/Her/Yes Ma’am) – Starting as Executive Director in June 2017, Alison brings with her a wide range of leadership, management and community organizing experience. Training since 2009, Alison has achieved the rank of 1st Dan Black Belt. When not at the dojo, Alison runs a nonprofit called Politics of the Possible in Action; an organization that focuses on increasing citizen engagement and civic education.

Cass Gill, Youth Teacher and Volunteer Coordinator (They/Them/Yes Cass) – Cass has been a part of the Quantum family since 2001. They started training in Quantum Martial Arts at 5 1/2 years old and worked for 7 years to become the first Junior Black Belt of our dojo. They then moved into the adult program where  they tested for High Blue Belt. They then went off to college and focused on their education and then, onto their work in veterinary medicine. But, luckily, martial arts never completely leaves you. They love the opportunity to provide even more energy to our quarks, kids, and teens programs. They are thrilled at the opportunity to give back to a community that has taught them so much. They have achieved an adult Red Belt.
