Dr. Karri Meleo, Chief Instructor and Board President of Quantum Seattle, has been training in the Quantum style since 2002 and has served on the Quantum Seattle board for many years. Karri is dedicated to making sure each every student reaches their true potential.
With her wide range of leadership, management and community organizing experience, Alison McCaffree became Executive Director at Quantum Martial Arts Seattle in June 2017. Training since 2009, Alison has achieved the rank of high red belt. When not at the dojo, Alison runs a nonprofit called Politics of the Possible in Action; an organization that focuses on increasing citizen engagement and civic education.
Kaushik Chatterjee, Board Member, has worked as a software engineer for the past nine years, and also enjoys photography, hiking, and biking in his spare time. He is passionate about Quantum because of the amazing sense of community and belonging that Quantum provides to everyone who walks in, and the great blend of style it provides from the hard kicks to the soft punches to elegant ground techniques.
Fayth Bursby, Board Member, is a professional child care provider, mom, and family organizer. She loves the outdoors and helping her son (KJ is shown here with Fayth) learn about life and structure. She wants to promote happiness and positive energy to those around her. She loves Quantum because it makes you feel like family.
Chris Dempewolf, Board Member, is a local software developer, the Quantum Facilities Manager, and the Quantum Treasurer. He has been on the board for over a year and recently obtained his Blue Belt in his martial arts practice.
Joelle Prokupek, Board Member and Communications Manager, is a local writer, the Secretary of the Quantum Board, and the webmaster. She has been on the board for over a year and has also obtained her Green Belt in her martial arts practice.
